“PATHOS” FETA CHEESE Pathos feta cheese

In Greek, Feta means " slice". It is Greek people’s favorite cheese and probably one of the oldest cheeses of Europe.

Feta cheese is traditionally made from sheep’s and goat’s milk and is stored in barrels of brine.

With no crust, deliciously crumbly, rough and granular, salted because It is preserved in brine, the Feta cheese is ideal for mezes, salads and with numerous culinary preparations, like tyropita… But the favorite way to eat Feta cheese is simply with a drop of olive oil and oregano.

Feta cheese should be stored in a refrigerator.
Feta cheese has a strong personality but its immaculate whiteness brings to food a touch of grace and purity. Kali Orexi ! (good appetite).

"PATHOS" Feta Cheese, available in:

  • 200gr vaccum pack
  • 900gr vaccum pack
  • NEW Cubed/Diced Feta Cheese in brine – pack of 1.3kg

“PATHOS” HALLOUMI CHEESE Pathos Halloumi cheese

Every country has its own speciality; Cyprus is well-known for its cheese: the Halloumi cheese.

Halloumi cheese is traditionally made from sheep’s and goat’s milk, by hand and is preserved in its natural juice with water and salt; it is a cheese with a light-hard paste, which is often folded with mint leaves.

Halloumi cheese can be served cold, but the best way is grilled or fried; its texture will be melting and its taste richer.
