  GREEK FETA CHEESE (P.D.O)

The European Union has ruled that from 2005 only Feta which is produced in Greece can be called FETA CHEESE.

Belgravia (UK) Trading Ltd are pleased to introduce a new brand of Feta Cheese. Produced by a company called Hotos, the Feta products all meet very high standards and have won Gold at the World Cheese Awards 2005.

By far, the most popular and the most ancient of the Greek Cheeses, it is the traditional cheese of Greece. “HOTOS” Feta is traditionally made from sheep's & goat's milk and is stored in barrels of brine.

Feta Cheese can be eaten and used in different ways. It is used in salads (Greek salad - horiatiki), baked in pies, crumbled on omelettes or even stuffed into fish. Probably the favourite way to eat feta, is to lay a thick slab on a plate pour on some olive oil and put a pinch of oregano on top.
