Antipasti are Italian appetizers consisting of an assortment of delicious foods. Typical ingredients include vegetables like sun and semi-dried tomatoes, zucchini, artichoke hearts, olives, mushrooms in oil or capers in vinegar. They are ideal to create your own Mediterranean antipasti platter or to accompany many Mediterranean dishes. There is not really a set recipe for an antipasti platter. All it takes is tasty good food and a bit of creativity!
